Currently independent chairman of Bupa Insurance, and is a former non-executive director of both Friends Life Group and Partnership Assurance.
Nigel has 40 years’ experience in the financial services industry. He held senior positions at Pearl Assurance, NPI, Prudential UK and as Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Executive of MGM Assurance. In addition to being a Non-Executive Director, Nigel undertakes interim management assignments in the Financial Services sector.
Co-founder and Group CEO of LCCG. His initial career was as an investment banker. In 2002 he became Group FD of Britannic Group, then Group CEO in 2003. He led the merger with Resolution 1 in 2005, become Group CEO of the merged entity. He was head of Pamplona Financial Services from 2008-2013. He co-founded LCCG in 2013.
Stephen has a long history in the UK life assurance industry, having been Finance Director of Royal London Mutual from 1999 to 2011, and more recently Managing Director of UK Existing Business for Aviva plc.
Seamus is an Actuary. He was a partner at KPMG where he led the UK actuarial practice from 2000 to 2003 and was the deputy leader globally. Previously he was Chief Executive of Bank of Ireland’s life assurance business and also at Abbey Life Ireland. He is a member of the insurance stakeholder group of the European Insurance and Occupational Pension Authority and is a Non-Executive Director of Baillie Gifford Life, RGA International, Celestial and RenaissanceRe subsidiaries in Britain and Ireland.
Co-founder and Group CFO of LCCG. His initial career was in life insurance and actuarial consultancy. He worked with Resolution 1 from its inception in 2003. Post the merger with Britannic, he was a director of Resolution plc as well as being Chief Actuary and Head of Corporate Development. He became founding partner of Resolution II in 2008, leading the activity to create the Friends Life Group. He left to co-found LCCG in 2013.
Tim is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has spent the majority of his executive career in various roles within the Aviva group. He currently acts as an INED on the board of LCCG’s Irish life companies (the Utmost Group). He is also Chairman of DMS Investment Management Services (Europe) and Independent Non-Executive Director for a number of investment fund companies.
Duncan is a chartered accountant who spent his executive career in various senior roles in the life assurance businesses of RSA, Lloyds Bank and, latterly, Legal & General Group.
Ed joined the company in January 2015 and is responsible for the actuarial and accounting functions (Financial Management area) of the company. Ed has over 30 years of experience in Financial Services with 20 years at Board level. Ed previously held roles at MetLife (UK), American Life Assurance Company (UK and Western Europe), MGM, Lucida and Tata Consultancy (Diligenta) and 19 years at Sun Life of Canada (UK) where he was Chief Financial Officer.
